As far as IT geeks go, I’m pretty normal.

I’m a Network/Sysadmin type of guy with a penchant for hardware and a knack at troubleshooting.  I’m comfortable in an all Microsoft environment, though I am not afraid of using a bit of Linux now and then.  I’ve been Cisco trained and will soon have my CCNA certification.  I have my CompTIA Network+ certification and an old Microsoft cert from the 2000 era.

I love IT and I also am a home brewer.  I also love RPG’s, especially Dungeons and Dragons.
But, I love my family even more.

This blog is a place where I can journal my forays into the world of IT as I have been exploring it, and also a sounding board for my home brewing hobby.  Stuff of a political nature or family nature won’t be sounded here.  I have other places for that type of content.
